New Season, New Rhythm: From Supervisor to Soccer Mom and Soul-Centered Living

Hey Mama,

The seasons are shifting, and so am I.

After wrapping up my role this semester as a Supervisor for a beautiful program that teaches social emotional learning through music and the arts, I’m officially hanging up my “other job” hat—for now. While I’m deeply grateful for the impact I get to make in that space, I’m leaning into a new rhythm for the next two months: full-time stay-at-home mom, housewife, and soul-care enthusiast.

This season is all about slowing down, tending to home, and embracing intentional motherhood. My teenage daughter just made the soccer team (go Rams!), so I’ve officially added “Soccer Mom” to my job title. And let’s not forget my Kindergartener, who keeps me on my toes and my heart full. Add in some spring cleaning, daily writing sessions for this book I’m determined to complete, and a whole lot more self-care—and I’m stepping into the kind of alignment I help my clients create for themselves.

If you’re like me and you’re navigating life with intention, trying to find peace in the chaos, and keeping your home running like a loving, lived-in sanctuary, I want to share a few of my current go-to items that are making my days smoother, calmer, and dare I say... a little more luxurious. Because let’s be real: we deserve a little softness in our hustle.

🌿 Tools That Support My Slow Season

🧽 Scotch-Brite Dish Sponges
Let’s start with the basics: dishes. These durable dish sponges are my kitchen BFFs right now. They make clean-up quick, which means more time for me to write and be present with my family.

💧 Yeixzoua 25oz Glass Water Bottle
Hydration is self-care, and this sleek glass water bottle reminds me to pour into me—literally and figuratively. It’s become a staple in my spring cleaning caddy, on my writing desk, and even on the soccer sidelines. (Straws)

💧 Nijialgexpy 64oz Glass Water Bottle
Keeping the whole household hydrated is a vibe. My fiancé’s new 64oz bottle means I don’t have to keep reminding him to drink water—and that’s one less thing on my mental load.

🌸 RA Cosmetics Shea Butter
I’ve been experimenting with making my own custom whipped body butter using this raw shea butter. Adding essential oils and whipping it to creamy perfection has become a sweet act of self-love.

🛁 Dr. Teal’s Bath Salts
When the kids are asleep and the house is (finally) quiet, I soak. These bath salts help my body release the stress I didn’t even realize I was holding. Highly recommend for my fellow tired mamas.

🕯 Suprus Electric Candle Lighter
This little gadget adds just the right amount of fancy to my daily candle ritual. No more fumbling with matches. Just light, breathe deep, and be present.

🚿 Gasrekv Shower Steamers
Don’t have time for a bath? These shower steamers are the next best thing. The eucalyptus one? Instant spa energy. I use them when I need a pick-me-up but don’t have time to slow down.

🍞 Hxryagi Butter Dish + Hahayoo Butter Knife
These are the little luxuries that make me feel like that mom—smooth toast, softened butter, and a moment to savor before the day begins. It’s giving cozy breakfast cafe vibes at home.

🌧 K KomForme Rainboots
Rainy school mornings are no match for these adorable and durable boots. They make my little one feel independent and stylish—and I don’t have to worry about soaked socks. Win-win.

What This Season Means For Me—and Maybe For You, Too

As I shift into this new phase, I’m reminded that slowing down is not falling behind. It’s preparing for the next bloom. Whether I’m cheering on the soccer field, deep cleaning the pantry, writing my next chapter (literally), or just taking a moment for me—I know I’m walking in purpose.

To my fellow mamas: give yourself permission to pivot. Your peace matters. Your dreams matter. You matter.
